I saw one of these in Germany, going the other way down the Autobahn at very many miles per hour. It was one of the coolest parts of my trip.

Although I approve of French Fridays a lot and love the EB110, it's the least French Bugatti. This is from the 'Bugatti Automobili SpA'-period. Which was actually an Italian company (with it's holding company in Luxembourg). Development, production, all took place in Italy (Campogalliano). The men behind it (Roman Artioli, Paolo Stanzani and Marcello Gandini): all Italian.
But it's in 'Blue Francia' so there you go ;-)
